Field test of the new
SIPLACE SX at BMK:
Investing precisely where it’s needed

For more than seven months, SMT production technician Christian Lösche and his team at Augsburg-based BMK Group have put the new SIPLACE SX through its paces on the factory floor. The new placement platform passed the test with flying colours. As part of an SMT line for the high-mix production of small lots, the SIPLACE SX met all the
requirements. The BMK team was particularly impressed by the ability to scale placement performance and setup capacity independently of each other. According to the field testers, the new machine represents a giant step towards on-demand electronics production.
