SIPLACE Precedence Finder: Effective collision protection for your placement process In modern PCB design, things can become rather tight – literally. This can make the placement process more complex, because the program must take the close distances between components and their varying heights into account in order to prevent collisions of components with each other or of components with nozzles.
With the SIPLACE Precedence Finder, you automate and optimize this complex process. Based on the completed placement program, the software computes the geometric data of components and the PCB. It uses the position, component and process information to calculate the potential placement scenarios, check them for possible collisions and define a suitable placement sequence.
The program also analyzes the nozzle and gripper data. The reason: if components are spaced very closely, the nozzle or gripper can easily collide with a previously placed component. Here, too, the SIPLACE Precedence Finder determines all critical scenarios and finds a reliable collision-free placement sequence.
Automated, time-saving analysis of component, board and nozzle geometries
In a single package: Prevention of component-with-component and component-with-nozzle collisions
Starting with the first board: Excellent placement quality for high-density and high-mix boards
More line productivity thanks to the elimination of costly downtime
