Using collinearity measurements to sort out damaged components "During my daily work with customers I often get interesting information about proplems which occure during real production. One challenge my customers have to face often are damaged connectors, because components frequently arrive with bent leads. They represent an unwelcome source of errors in the placement process, because they are difficult to identify without vision tools, and electrical tests take place when it is too late. With SIPLACE placement machines running SIPLACE station software version 605.3 and 703 or higher and SIPLACE Pro version 8 or higher, my customers get a handle on this challenge, because they check the collinearity of each component by default."  more
